Introduction

This document contains the release notes for SAFARI Montage 5.3.x. This is a full release of the SAFARI Montage System and the following sections provide details to its release. SAFARI Montage 5.x is not a software-only upgrade from SAFARI Montage 4.x and may require a new OS drive, increased RAM, and/or a new server. Contact SAFARI Montage Customer Service (1-800-782-7230) regarding SAFARI Montage 5.x upgrade options.

  • SAFARI Montage Live! v5 Integration
    • One click access to invitations, sessions and recordings from the Dashboard.
    • Integrated with LDAP for easy session scheduling and invitation creation.
    • Intuitive filtering for adding attendees to a session.
    • Returned search results will include session recordings.
    • Addition of the Personal Address Book for managing contacts outside of the district network.
  • System Performance
    • Faster page rendering for the Dashboard, search, title detail and playlist pages.
  • IMS Common Cartridge
    • Compliant with Common Cartridge v 1.2.
    • Import Common Cartridges into Digital Curriculum Presenter lessons.
