Learning Object Repository (LOR) Enhancements

Personalized Languages and One-Click Read Aloud in Microsoft Immersive Reader
LOR users can now select a preferred language for text translations available via Microsoft Immersive Reader, and take advantage of one-click access to the Immersive Reader read back function in English

Now use Get It? Formative Assessments for self-assessed, self-paced, learning paths with instant remediation!
Students may now launch Get it? assessments on their own, plus Get it? assessments can now be easily shared to Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams & LMSs

Assign Copies of Google Docs to Students in Google Classroom
Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets saved to the LOR as web links can now be assigned as individual copies to each student when assigning an object or playlist to Google Classroom

Thin CC Audiobook Support
IMS Global Thin Common Cartridge imports now support new learning object types including IMS LTI Audiobooks and Web Link Audiobooks

Enhanced Playlist Navigation Buttons
Robust accessibility navigation buttons have been added to Student and Teacher Playlist views for ease of access and improved user experience when navigating through playlists

Improved OneRoster Support
Introducing OneRoster REST API support, improved speed of OneRoster REST and CSV processing and an improved configuration interface

Access to new v8.5 features requires a Software Upgrade Plan or Learning Object Repository subscription and FreeBSD 10.1 or later OS drives.

Please note that SAFARI Montage v8.0 and later require a server purchased within the last five years. If your server does not meet this requirement, you will require a new OS drive or migration to our new cloud offering.
