SAFARI Montage HLS Unicast Encoders provide full, native HTML5-compatible playback to meet the needs of any client — all without the need for the SAFARI Montage Media Player plugin1.

These next generation encoders integrate seamlessly with SAFARI Montage IPTV & Live Media Streaming solutions to support live stream delivery to mobile devices, Chromebooks, and the latest Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox browsers, which no longer support plug-ins and require HTML5 support.

SAFARI Montage HLS Unicast Encoders support flexible video input options with HDMI, component and composite inputs — and outputs HTML5-native HLS unicast streams, dynamically serving the optimal stream and bitrate to each client.

SAFARI Montage HLS Unicast Encoders are ideal for streaming school news and support up to 60 clients directly. When paired with multicast encoders, SAFARI Montage IPTV & Live Media Streaming solutions will dynamically select the optimal streaming format through client auto-detection, delivering multicast or ABR unicast (HLS) at three different bitrates.
