Academic Standards

Standards correlations are an integral part of the SAFARI Montage Learning Object Repository and can be used to search for learning objects on the system.

All relevant SAFARI Montage Video Streaming Library content is correlated to appropriate academic and national standards, while curated and created content uploaded to the LOR can also be correlated to standards.

SAFARI Montage offers pre-packaged state and several national academic standards provided by Academic Benchmarks, including:

NEW 8.4 SAFARI Montage now also supports the IMS Global Competencies and Academic Standards Exchange® (CASE®) standard format. By supporting both Academic Benchmarks and CASE formats, SAFARI Montage enables users to:
  • Import content from third parties aligned to either standard format
  • Merge search results for content aligned or correlated to either format
  • View content correlated to either format regardless of the version used to search
NEW 8.4 Enhanced Ability to Customize Academic Standards—System admins now have additional options for configuring the end user experience with standards including the ability to hide or permanently retire outdated standards, and control default setting for viewing, searching and aligning content using either Academic Benchmarks or CASE formatted standards.
